Visitors to Singapore will love Jewel Changi Airport, a multi-dimensional destination that not only pampers its guests with an array of creature comforts, but also indulges them in a wide range of lifestyle offerings. In the world’s number one airport, one can now play, shop, dine, stay and fly, all under one roof.
This recently opened ten-storey complex hosts more than 280 retail stores and eateries, which include new-to-Singapore brands, heritage local brands showcasing first-of-its-kind concepts and new-to-market concepts.
Guests can explore the first Pokemon Centre outside Japan and the Shiseido Forest Valley to discover exclusive merchandise, customise gifts in the Naiise store and café’s Gift Bar, and watch movies in an 11-screen Shaw Cineplex that includes an IMAX theatre.
Some of these brands are housed in Duplex Boulevard, where stores have double-height shopfronts. Majestic flagship stores that have set up shop in Jewel Changi Airport include Nike, whose duplex flagship store spans over 1,000 square metres and features a comprehensive apparel customisation section.
New food and beverage experiences offered in Jewel Changi Airport include ‘garden dining’, which lets diners enjoy views of Changi’s indoor gardens from restaurant terraces, and ‘dining under the stars’ in Canopy Park, where restaurants and bars offer views of the night sky. Five Spice, the food court operated by Food Junction, features food by more than ten iconic local restaurants, such as Faai Di by the award-winning and family-owned fish soup restaurant Ka-Soh; and Fu Lin Yong Tofu, an icon of Telok Ayer that has revamped itself over the decades from a traditional eatery to a hip hangout.
In addition to providing convenient access to early check-in, tax refund and other aviation-related services, Changi Airport Singapore now invites its patrons to explore indoor gardens like Canopy Park and Forest Valley, which is the largest garden in the airport and hosts light and sound shows. Your guests will also love the Changi Experience Studio, where visitors young and old can embark on a variety of interactive expeditions.
YOTELAIR Changi Airport, the first YOTELAIR in Asia, has also opened within the airport, which offers short stays in first-class cabin-like rooms, where travellers can take a break or freshen up after shopping and dining in Jewel.
